Wow, barely anyone uses livejournal anymore.
On Saturday, we came in 11th place overall. Missed finals by 1. But we did beat Gateway. Even if it was by a tenth of a point. And our general music was second overall to Centerville. Which means our individual music was horrid. Oh well. We still have PIMBA. And I love how Mr. C. decided to have a 5 hour practice on one of our Saturday's off.
I guess I'm going to homecoming this year. I'm not going with anyone as of yet. Yesterday I went to a billion different places with Steph, Chelsey, and James. Here's the breakdown:
Time we left: 3:15
Time we got back: 9:30
Objective: Homecoming Attire
I got: a shirt and tie
James got: a tie
Chelsey got: a dress AT ROBINSON (We started all the way out at South Hills Village)
Steph got: SUNGLASSES
Moral of the story: DON'T GO SHOPPING WITH WOMEN
But don't get me wrong. It was a really fun time. |

I think I'm going to really enjoy my senior year. I'm with a whole lot of my friends and I'm taking classes I like (maths, sciences, and NO history). Chem II is going to be really fun, but I forget EVERYTHING about chemistry. I don't think I'll be able to change my lunch, which sucks. Oh well.
And of course there are like 10 people in my study hall who play magic. Heh heh. |

I might try to get my lunch changed to 5th, cuz 4th period lunch sucks, but I'm gonna see what other people's lunches are first. |

Tomorrow is my last day at the OCB. That's two summers of dishwashing. Sweeeeeet.
Marching band has been taking a ton of time from me. Next week will be the worst. Practices 6-9 tues, wed, and thurs, a football game at laurel highlands on friday, some stupid Pre-Pimba thing at Elizabeth Forward on Saturday, and Kennywood on Sunday. Kennywood is always fun though.
I want X-box 360. Now. |

Well, the summer has been passing alrmingly fast. Next week my summer will end. Band camp all day every weekday for 2 weeks, followed by weekends at the OCB.
Lately, I've just been doing stuff with friends and family. Yesterday I saw Fight Club for the first time. Since I've seen it just once, I just have to watch it again. It's one of those movies. And I also saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail for the first time. I really need to catch up on tons of movies.
And yet again I wonder: Why did I ever get into Magic: The Gathering???? |

Well, I just got back from Cedar Point. My dad got a hotel that was on the island where Cedar Point was, so the park was in walking distance. I loved the Top Thrill Dragster. Even though it wasn't a very long ride, the highest and fasted roller coaster in the world didn't leave me dissapointed in the least. We didn't stay too long, but I got to miss two band practices. Sweetness. And one more thing: I love Dippin' Dots. That is all. |

Yesterday I reserved Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I can't wait. I was a little dissapointed to find out that it's only 672 pages, but nontheless I'm sure it'll be sweet.
Today I went to EB and bought the Halo 2 multiplayer map pack. The maps are awesome. I am now playing Halo 2 again. And I would also like to say that I beat Jason Ebner at 1 flag CTF at Relic. Go me.
BAND TONIGHT!!!

Yesterday was of course Dan's graduation party. Very enjoyable. Playing badmitton with a plastic bat isn't easy. DDR was fun as usual. Played magic with jason, brian, and taught steph. I'm not really sure how, but steph won every game we played. We swam in the evening. I am proud to say I dunked AJ several times. He attempted the steamroller, but I got out before I my face was under too long. And my jaw hurts. From AJ. There will be war.

Well, I haven't updated in quite a while, so here goes....
All I've been doing lately is work, work, work. It's not a bad job, but it gets annoying. I should have gone to AJ's grad party last Saturday, but I didn't call off in time. And they made me work monday, when I'm not supposed to work mondays, so I missed Jason's thingy. But I did call off for this Saturday, when I will embark on an adventure to the Robinson residence.
I just bought Half-life 2. Great game. Should have bought it way sooner. And me and chuck have been playing half-life/counter-strike/team fortress classic alot lately. They're way better than Halo.
Well, I will most likely see alot of you on Saturday. Later. |

Well, I had my first day at the OCB on Saturday. 7 1/2 hours of running around and getting wet. But I get paid $6.50 an hour which isn't bad.
Mini camp is really dumb. But Groba makes it fun. Plenty of breaks (Magic). And the poor poor band front has to stay all day monday tuesday and wednesday in the hot sun.
I need stuff to do during the summer. Cuz I always seem to be sitting at home doing nothing. |

This is the void between school and band. The one day this summer I'll be able to say I'm not doing anything.
Tuesday I drove chuck and my brother to my house. Me and chuck played magic for a while, then Dave came and we all played frisbee and chinese ping-pong. Our magic cards came at like 6. I then dropped dave and chuck off on my way to karate, then later I went to chuck's and spent the night. This morning we spent several hours cleaning chuck's 50-year-old swimming pool that hasn't been touched for like 5 years. The things we found included two frogs, several balls, and a dead, mangled possem. I was the only one brave enough to scoop it out. AJ nearly threw up.
And I got the job at Old Country Buffet. Woo-hoo, woo-hoo-hoo. |

I can't believe school is almost over. 1 1/2 more days in that building this year. Oh wait. I have to go back next Thursay for marching band. Ugh.
Today I picked up my summer reading assignment for AP English 12. I should have gotten it yesterday, but of course I forgot, among about 20 others. A great start for the new school year...........
I bought more magic cards. Not sure why. And tonight I will be at Chuck's. Playing plenty of Halo.
Oh yeah and I have a job interview at Old Country Buffet tomorrow. Not my first choice for a place to work, but it's way better than that job I had last summer............. |

The Kennywood trip was not too bad, despite the rain and coldness.
Friday I spent the night at James's, then went to Trader Jack's and to Andy's in the morning. I didn't find anything at Trader Jack's, but at Andy's I shot his sweet compound bow. I then came home for the rest of the day and did some work around the house.
On monday, I got up bright and early at 5:15 to go around with the Veterans and played taps with jon at like 6 places. Then I did the dumb parades and ended up completely missing the national anthem at Oakdale. Sweet. And band front is dumb. And most of the woodwinds. And low brass. Trumpets rule. |

The whole last week of school seemed like a waste. On Friday, me, james, and andy got out of school after 3rd period and went to my house. Dave arrived shortly after and we all played some magic. My mom ordered pizza for all of us and at 11:45 we left for star wars. We saw the 12:30 showing, and it was incredible. Definitely my favorite. And I'm gonna go see it again some time.
After the movie, we took dave home and went to james's. There, we picked up the magic cards we ordered and I went home for a while. Later, I went back to James's and me him and andy played magic and jumped on the trampoline. When andy's dad came, we decided to go to andy's house for the night. Andy rented National Treasure. I thought it was a really good movie.
Tuesday I go to Kennywood with my physics class. It's supposed to rain. I hope it doesn't. |

To make a long story short, I want to see episode 3 so bad right now. And I hate all of you that are seeing it tonight :(. But I will see it on Friday. And for all of you who for some reason don't know it, I'm not going to prom.
Eh, I'm pretty much done with school. Most teachers are done giving work. Can't wait for summer.
Saw the end of Of Mice and Men today in English. It was sad and I thought the ending could have been better.
And I hit 2 homers in wacky bat. Go me. |

Today I purchased Final Fantasy VII for playstation and reserved the new zelda game for gamecube. I will most likely get a job up at Old Country Buffet this summer. And Xbox 360 comes out in November. But I still think Microsoft should go with one of their original names for the new Xbox, the Xenon.
PS: Sorry Dan, but Grandia just didn't do it for me. Somehow pressing the x button over and over to wax the floor of a ship just doesn't appeal to me. |

I had planned to spend the night at Chuck's thursday night and hang out today. My father, however, thought not. Apparently I was grounded or something without my knowing? So, I've been home doing not much of anything on the fine day off. Gotta love my dad.
Today I went with my family to see hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. Not grounded anymore? Anyways, between my dad complaining that he wanted to leave and my brother and mom disliking the movie, we ended up walking out about an hour and 15 minutes into it. I admit it was kind of dumb, but I didn't like walking out. That is the story of my action packed day off. |
